Updates for the Reunion on December '09
1. Reminder sa mga batchmates natin na mag remitt na sila ng payment kasi we only have a month to go and malaki ang expenses sa preparation.
2. Nag cut down na kami ng expenses kaya yung venue mapapalitan kasi sayang pa yung ibabayad just for the venue lang.
3. Yung iba naman willing to pay half of the amount ng napagkasunduang contribution kaya sana maging successful na ang solicitation.
4. Mag kakasama kami kanina nila Monching, Rollen, Jerome Reuma at si Jonathan Revelar. May courtesy call kanina sa Mayor's office pero na re-sched.
5. We went to SSS, Pag-ibig, PLDT at sa Sanggunian office.
6. Next meeting will be on Friday, Nov. 27, venue to be announced later.
7. Sa Nov. 30 mag ro-rounds ulit sa mga ka batch.

A Note of Sympathy
We extend our condolences to the family of our batchmate, Ms. Alma Caballero. Her dad passed away last August 11, 2009. To our friends and bacthmates who were able to attend the viewing, thank you for your time & effort.

Get-Together Party!!!
Here are the details of our forth coming "Get Together" on May as part of the preparation for our batch Reunion on December, at the same time para ma-accomodate din natin ang ating mga ka-batch na magbabakasyon ng May.
We set a "Get Together" and a meeting at the same time on May 16 (Saturday). There will be updates kung ano na ang nangyayari sa preparaton ng ating reunion and our contribution needs to be collected on that day, too. Our invitations and solicitation letters will also be distributed.
Eto yung napagkasunduan nung nagdaang mga meetings natin, na magkaroon ng "Get Together" ng May para magkaron ng urgency ang mga batchmates natin, at para sa mga batchmate natin na uuwi ng May.
Yung mga pix at memorabilias nung highschool huwag kalilimutan........pinaka importante yan!!!

Dear Batchmates,
It’s been 10 years since our last Reunion and 20 years when we graduated from our Alma Mater. I know all of us are now busy with our lives. Some of us are working abroad, others chose to work here in our country, though some are lucky enough to have a better life and the rest are striving hard just to make both ends meet. Regardless of our situation in life, we have to be together on our Grand Reunion!
As the chairman of our forthcoming reunion this December 2009, I enjoin everyone to make that day truly memorable for all of us. I am soliciting your benevolence of contributing an amount so as to raise funds which will be used to facilitate the holding of the programs for the said event, and at the same time to sponsor the attendance of our batchmates who couldn’t come due to financial constraint. We have one batchmate who sponsored some of his friends from his class, which is a very good idea and we can do the same. All the help that we can provide to get started is needed now. May I also appeal to those who are abroad to send us their financial contribution, the sooner the better!

Highlights of the meeting:
a) Officers / Committee
Hindi pa rin kumpleto ang committee, please, I appeal to our batchmates, san ko kayo pwedeng maasahan.? I will be needing your help in the coming months para sa pangunguha ng sponsors. Kelangan malagyan ng mga tao ang ilang committee na wala pang naka assign.
b) Venue
So far, ang Anorestos pa lang ang nagugustuhan na venue para dun sa mga nakakita na sa ating blogspot: http://qnhs89grads.blogspot.com/. We are still open for other suggestions, baka may alam pa kayo at a better price. Otherwise, we will finalize this until next meeting.
c) Contribution (number of attendees per family)
Napag usapan na P1,000 per head tayo sa mga ka-batch natin, plus P500 pesos kung kasama ang asawa ( dapat yung totoo, he he he he) ang mga anak ay libre na. Sa P1, 000 kasama na dun ang isang T-shirt , ka-batch lang ang bibigyan ng
t-shirt, ang asawa ay hindi na, pero kung ang asawa ay ka batch din natin, meron ding T-shirt. Our contribution will cover the expense for Food,T-shirt and other needs. Dito rin natin kukunin ang para sa ating “adopt-a-room” project. Mga BATCHMATES, pwede ng mag bigay ng inyong AMBAG, at Pledges. Pwede rin po ang HULUGAN, maaring dumiresto na kayo sa banko at i-deposit sa account natin, ASIA UNITED BANK, c/o Edith Nazareno- Baronia – The Manager.

Naiisip namin na tulungan ang mga ka-batch natin, by being our own suppliers, baka may batchmate tayo na nasa catering services, sa kanya na natin kukunin ang food. Anyone who is into shirt printing business or tarpaulin, and our other would be needs, sa kaniya/kanila na natin kukunin ang supply. Nakatulong na tayo sa business nila, natulungan pa nila ang batch by giving a friendly rate, di ba?
So kung sino man jan, please let us know para mapag-usapan natin.
f) Solicitation
The letter of sponsorship is now ready pwede na kayo kumuha ng copy, pwede rin kami ang magbigay, just give the names of your prospects, please see attached copy.
g) Projects
Sa mga dating napag-usapan , we realized na parang hindi feasible yung mga projects, considering the time and resources natin. Our main objective for having a project is to come up with funds, so it ‘s a sort of Fund Raising, na di masyadog mangangailangan ng malaking puhunan. I would like to appeal dun sa ating mga batchmates na alam nila na medyo short and budget nila para makapag-contribute financially, kahit in kind , we need man power para ma materialize yung projects, mga taong kikilos, kahit yun ang kanilang contribution.
h) Souvenir Program
Kelangan namin ng mga old pictures, gamit at kung ano-ano pa na part ng memorabilla natin. Ang plano sa souvenir program ay yung parang yearbook style wherein naka features yung mga old pictures natin up to our preparation ng 20th, wala pang costing para dito, naghahanap pa rin tayo ng sponsors, kaya kelangan na natin mag-solicit.
i) Information Dissemination
Patuloy tayong mag-inform ng mga kabatch natin para dumami tayo. Hindi naman kailangan maka-attend sila regularly ng meeting kahit once lang. Ang mahalaga ay aware sila na meron tayong reunion and they are with us. We need their confirmation and contribution for the preparation
To our batchmates, your suggestions, ideas are welcome, para sa ika-sasaya at ikapag-tatagumpay ng ating reunion. Please feel free to discuss it with me/us, I/we would highly appreciate it. Thank you in advance, and hope to hear from you and we want to see you in the coming meetings.

20th Alumni Homecoming - 2009
MINUTES OF THE MEETING
What: 1st Regular Meeting for Batch ’89 Reunion
Date: January 23, 2009 – Friday
Time: 6:00 PM
Venue: 2nd Floor, KTV Room ,Antigua Restaurant
Present were:

I started the meeting at exactly 7:00 in the evening, by informing everybody that Ms. Christine Maano has just got married last December 27, 2008, and she is now Mrs. Castillo, I mean, Dra. Castillo.
I recapped the minutes of last year’s series of meetings and the status of our preparation.
The highlights of the meeting are as follows:
1. FINAL DATE OF THE REUNION
Napag kasunduan na December na ang Reunion, (the exact date is still to be determined) considering our status, we have a lot of things to prepare, so at least we have the whole year of preparation, but we will still push through with the original plan of having a simple “Get –Together” on May for those who are coming on May, exact date is also to be determined.
2. VENUE
There are two options, one, yung sa Gulang Gulang sa Andaman Village, ALNORESTOS FAMILY RESORT , isa syang compound, andun na ang open air na Function Hall pero covered, Swimming Pool, Cottages and the whole place is big enough for families to enjoy and for the kids to enjoy, the last time na makausap ko yung may ari ang cost ng renta ay umaaabot ng 10T for an exclusive. There is another one, at Siudad Maharlika, M-ZCRISTIN Family Resort. Ganun din isang compound sya merong function Hall na open air pero covered, swimming pool and playground, ang maganda lang meron syang Rooms for freshing up and kung gusto rin matulog. Medyo mas mura sya, kasi hindi naman sya sing ganda nung isa pero ok naman, di naman panget. I still have to inquire about the rate.
3. THEME / COLOR AND SLOGAN / T-SHIRTS
We decided na ituloy ang dating design tulad nung 10th year natin, babaguhin lang ng konte para I update, I’d would like to retain the slogan and the theme, para long time na yun ang gagamitin na natin, I’d like to commend who thought of it, very clever, “BATCH EYTI-NAYN – STILL MAGNIPISENT AND BERI PAYN!”, the group decided na Orange na rin ang Shirt natin na may Black Font, kung kaya ng budget Polo Shirt sana.
4. CONTRIBUTION
The contribution still pegged at P1,000.00, anytime pwede ng magbigay kahit staggered, but understandably, mukhang mabigat dun sa iba, ok lang naman kung P500 lang ang kaya para sa talagang di kalakihan sweldo, at para naman dun sa talagang walang wala, OK pa rin, -“BASTA KUNG ANONG MERON PAGSASALUHAN” kaya we appeal to those who are a little financially blessed tulungan na lang natin yung ibang ka-batch natin. Sino nga pala maniningil sa mga nasa abroad.
5. PROJECTS
( These are just ideas, we still have to sit down and discuss the details and its possibilities, and I still need the consensus of the committee, please feel free to give your comments and suggestions or any other ideas, lahat welcome.)

But here are some suggestions na activity / project na pwede nating gawin habang nagpe-prepare tayo,
5.a Campus Visit – let us schedule one day na bibisita tayo sa QNHS bibisita tayo sa mga titser natin, magparamdam tayo sa kanila, tell them na we are celebrating our 20th year, maybe we can get some ideas, na makakatulong sa preparation natin
5.b Service Mission –isang araw ng service mission, it’s like medical mission, but konti lang ang doctors natin, so I am thinking of different services, , FREE Legal Consultation, para sa mga lawyer nating batch, Dental clinic, sa mga Dentist nating ka-batch, gaya ni Mabel Ilagan, pwedeng mag booth siya ng PLDT nila, ang mga nasa banko, pwedeng mag Sales Blitz, at kung ano ano pa, which will also serve as promotion of their services. Pwedeng i-tie –up kung kanino man.
5.c Fund Raising – Since kelangan talaga nating makalikom ng pera, aside from Solicitaion Sponsorship, napag kasunduan na mag fund raising and here are the suggestions:
5.c.1 BALLROOM PARTY – the usual ballroom party magtiticket selling tayo isa ito sa mga low cost na event.

5.c.3 STAGE PLAY – at eto din we can get a stage play from manila na merong educational vaues or historical then tie up sa Dep-Ed para somehow compulsary ang ticket
5.c.4 GARAGE SALE – Ukay ukay
5.c.5 VIDEO BANK- mag reregister tayo under one account as a member, then mag dedeposit tayo ng mga DVD na meron tayo, at everytime na may mag rent nung DVD natin 50/50 tayo ng video bank, ( Raymond Alpay's suggestions)
5.d Provident or Trust Fund – eto yung noon ko pa na sinasabi, gusto ko sanang magkaroon tayo ng continuous fund habang buhay na, para if ever may mangailangan, magkasakit o may namatay na ka batch natin, may makukunan, pwedeng donasyon o credit, kung paano man, basta yung ang thrust nung fund or at at least meron tayong fund para sa mga susunod nating reunion, at talagang dapat meron tayong continuous na fund kasi may inaalagaan tayong room, yung adopted natin na room.

3. I am also planning of a house-to-house para sa mga ka-batch natin to inform them of our reunion suggestion: how about a radio say 2 sec. spot
4. Kelan tayo pwedeng mangolekta ng bayad now na! So we can move na
5. Humihingi ako sa lahat ng mga naitatago nilang pictures nila nung high school and other memorabillas, kahit slumbook pwede rin, at kung may naitatagong riffle, CAT Hat, Sword, or uniform please paki-submit lang kahit mga projects. For memorabilia section?
